Participatory Facilitation engages with teams and communities to discover and prioritise what is important to the group and enable and empower them to explore options, refine and agree on priorities, values, strategy and discover what is in place for this and what is yet to be developed.
This motivates teams and groups to both define and take action.
I'm a qualified and experienced participatory facilitator and trainer of participatory facilitation skills and I believe that this method of facilitation engages teams and diverse audiences in innovative and creative ways that supports decision making while aligning with the vision, mission and development needs of the team or group. This enables inclusive and sustainable guidelines and strategies to be developed, enacted and evaluated.
Part of this process is to share facilitation skills and techniques so that learning is held within the group for their internal and external stakeholder work.
I've facilitated groups for environmental, landscape and community projects, in environmental research settings and for national government departments .
