Salutogenic Coaching Skills Training
Whitespace Coaching in collaboration with Reciprocal Minds has developed an
Accredited Salutogenic Coaching Skills Training Programme.
This comprehensive coaching training promotes leadership, adaptability and resilience in organisations and with their stakeholders.
This coaching approach increases engagement and helps individuals develop self efficacy, which in turn means people feel empowered, have more confidence and less resources are needed to sustain and improve services and performance.
It is an approach for Healthcare Professionals to use to support patients moving from care within the NHS to independent living.
This approach focuses on the knowledge, skills and qualities a coaching approach brings to Leadership, Management, in relationship development with team members and empowering individuals (e.g. people living with chronic or life limiting health conditions) to explore their options and challenges and develop the confidence and self efficacy to move towards another stage in their lives.
It is effective as a compassionate intervention for patients and carers when the individual moves towards greater self management and it is anticipated, over the longer term, it will save time, repeat visits and will increase the performance and staff recruitment and retention.
There are a variety of independent and employer-based courses on offer:
